About the game
In Run Your City, you become the mayor of a small town seen from above. You lay out roads and build homes, then shops, factories, water towers, wind turbines, parks, schools, a fire station, a health center and even a stadium. Every month, residents pay their taxes and show whether they are happy: a well-served home grows until it becomes an apartment building, while a forgotten home empties out. Across the 24 districts you meet forests to clear, pollution, residents' requests, fires, bridges, trash and breakdowns. The real fun is finding the right balance between a full treasury and cheerful residents.
How to play
Pick a building in the bottom bar, then tap a square of land to build it; slide your finger to lay several roads at once. With a mouse, just click. On the keyboard, the arrow keys move the frame, Enter or Space builds, the number keys pick a tool, V changes the speed and P or Esc pauses. Every home must touch a road. Reach the level goals before your term ends: 3 stars if you are ahead of time, 2 or 1 otherwise. You lose if your term ends first, or if the treasury stays empty for 3 months in a row. The game has 24 levels.
