Jobs and city life games

Who puts out fires, who treats dogs, who delivers the mail, who bakes bread before dawn? The city and the people who keep it running are at the heart of these games. You take on a job, run a shop, direct traffic or help the residents of a neighborhood. Everyone's role, the vocabulary of jobs and the rules of living together (waiting your turn, crossing at the right place, helping out) start to make sense. The eternal question “what do you want to be when you grow up?” finds plenty of food for thought. A parent can also take the chance to describe their own work in simple words.
