About the game

In The Water Path, your pencil makes slides for water. At the top of a grid-lined notebook page, a wooden tank is full of blue drops. Further down, a glass with a face waits with its mouth open: it is thirsty! You draw ramps, open the tank's red trapdoor, and the drops race down your lines. The fuller the glass gets, the wider it smiles. As the levels go by, you meet wooden planks, red stripes where your pencil can't draw, hot stones that turn water into steam, a glass that slides along a rail, wind, and finally two glasses to serve. After a failed try, your lines stay in place: you see where the water escapes and adjust your drawing.

How to play

Your aim: make the water in the glass rise to the dotted orange line. Sketch ramps across the page with a finger or the mouse, and tap "Pour" when you are ready. On a computer, Space or Enter starts the water, Z or Backspace removes the last line and R puts the water back in the tank. The ink decides your stars: glass filled, 1 star; three quarters of the ink or less, 2 stars; half or less, 3 stars. If the water stops below the line, try again or ask for a hint (2 stars at most). The 15 levels unlock one by one, with something new every two levels from level 3 to level 13.
