About the game
Flags of the World is a quiz that helps you learn to recognize the flags of different countries. You can start in Europe: France, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Ukraine or the United Kingdom. Then travel around the world with Japan, Brazil, Canada, India, Senegal, Mexico or Vietnam. Some flags look very much alike, such as those of Italy and Ireland, or Poland and Indonesia: you need to look closely at the colors, stripes, stars and crosses. The questions are picked at random in every game. When you make a mistake, the game shows you the right country, so you learn as you play, with no timer and at your own pace.
How to play
Find the country that matches the flag on the screen. The game has 2 levels to choose from: Europe, with 27 flags, or whole world, which adds 26 countries from Africa, the Americas and Asia. Tap with your finger or click one of the four country names. On a keyboard, press keys 1 to 4, matching the numbers on the buttons. Each game has 10 questions, and each right answer earns one point. After a mistake, the right country turns green. At the end, you earn 1 star for 3 or more right answers, 2 for 6 or more and 3 for 9 or more. Your best score on each level becomes your record, shown on the home screen.
