About the game

Under a bandstand hung with paper lanterns, a little hedgehog conductor raises his baton and plays a sound. Your job: listen carefully, then tap the right picture. First you learn to recognize the instruments: drum, flute, violin and xylophone, then trumpet, piano, guitar and maracas, all made by the game itself. Then come new challenges: a sound as high as a bird's song or as low as an elephant's voice, a tune that goes up, goes down or draws a hill, notes to count, music that is slow or fast, two little tunes that are the same or not. The trickiest one: the whole orchestra plays, then one musician stops halfway. With every right answer, an animal musician climbs onto the stage, and the rehearsal room lets you freely play the instruments you have discovered.

How to play

At the start of each question, the conductor plays the sound by himself: listen, then tap the matching picture. On the keyboard, keys 1 to 5 pick an answer (arrow keys and Enter work too), R or Space play the sound again, Escape or P pause the game. A concert has 6 to 12 questions and is worth 3 stars, minus one for each mistake and each replay, with at least one star if you finish it. After three mistakes the concert stops: just try again. Three stars earn a golden music sheet. The game has 24 concerts, with a sound demo for every new challenge.
