About the game

What Time Is It? is a quiz that helps you learn to tell the time on a clock with hands. The clock face has an orange rim, the numbers 1 to 12 and little marks for the minutes. The short pink hand shows the hours, and the long blue hand shows the minutes. Just like on a real clock, the short hand moves slowly between two numbers as the minutes go by. The game gets harder with each question, from times on the hour all the way to minutes. The times are picked at random, and the wrong answers are real traps, such as a time read with the two hands mixed up. There is no timer, so you can take your time and look carefully.

How to play

Look at the clock and find the time it shows among four answers. Tap the right one with your finger or click it. On a keyboard, keys 1 and 2 pick the top answers, 3 and 4 the bottom ones, and Enter starts a game. There are no levels: each round has 10 questions that get harder and harder. First come times on the hour, then half past in questions 4 and 5, quarters in questions 6 and 7, and minutes in steps of 5 for the last three. Each right answer earns one point; after a mistake, the right time turns green. At the end, you earn 1 star, 2 from 6 right answers and 3 from 9.
