Quiz and trivia games
A quiz is a question, several possible answers and a moment of suspense before you find out if you got it right. Questions can be about nature, countries, animals, sports, history or everyday life. Getting it wrong is no big deal: an answer you discover after a mistake often sticks better in your memory. You need to read carefully and think before you choose, and your curiosity grows with every round of questions. These games are mainly for independent readers, around 7 or 8; for younger kids, a grown-up can read the questions out loud and team up with the child. And when a question stumps you, why not look up the answer together in a book or a dictionary?
