Arcade games

Arcade games keep the spirit of the game machines of the past, found in cafés and arcades: a rule you understand in a few seconds, a game that starts right away, and the urge to start again to get a little further. You catch, dodge, bounce or collect bonuses, often with a difficulty that rises gently. When the screen gets busy, skill and a cool head make the difference. Little text and simple controls by finger or keyboard: most of these games are easy to pick up around age 5, sometimes earlier. Their short format fits easily into a little break between two activities.
