About the game
A little locomotive seen from above sets off on a real trip around the world in twelve stages: the meadows of France, the tulips of the Netherlands, the rice fields of Vietnam, the desert of Egypt, the savanna of Kenya, the sea ice of Canada, the mountains of Switzerland, the Andes of Peru, the villages of India, the red earth of Australia, the forest of Brazil and a big city in Japan. The journey gets trickier bit by bit with bends announced by signs, track switches, stations, camels or giraffes crossing, bridges, icy rails, dark tunnels, slopes, night, rain and a rival train. Each stage you win sticks a stamp in your travel journal, with a postcard and a fun fact about the country. Stars unlock colorful wagons, whistles and a steam locomotive.
How to play
Keep your finger pressed on the screen (or the mouse button, the Space bar, the Up arrow) to speed up, and let go to brake. Before a bend, a bridge or a tunnel, slow down: the needle on the speedometer must stay in the green, or the train comes off the rails. Tap the lever when it lights up green, or use the Left and Right arrows, to take the fast track. Stop in the green zone of the stations and the last station, and at the red light of the animal crossings. One star for arriving, then one or two more for three challenges: time, passengers and no incident. Three incidents, or the rival arriving first, and the level is lost. The game has 24 levels.
