About the game
In the dojo, between the paper windows and the green tatami mats, every match is friendly. You bow at the start and at the end (Rei), then “Hajime!” and the match begins. With each belt, you meet a new partner in a blue kimono: Léo, Inès, Malo, Aya, Noé, Lina, Sacha, Yuna, Adam, and finally Master Rosa for the brown belt. Each match also highlights a judo value, such as politeness, courage or patience. When you win a belt, a real technique goes into your technique notebook with its Japanese name: O-goshi, Ukemi, O-soto-gari… Your stars also unlock kimono colors and badges to sew on your jacket.
How to play
The goal: win all 10 belts, one per match. Tap the screen (or Space, Enter) to bow, then to set your partner down when the needle showing their balance enters the green. From level 3, your partner makes you fall: slide your finger the way the arrow points (or use an arrow key). At level 5, memorize the moves and repeat them in order. Then come fakes, “Keep your center” (slide or hold ← →), 3-move combinations and the throw on the move. Each exchange is worth up to 3 points: with half of them, the belt is yours, with 1 to 3 stars. A miss costs nothing. P or Esc: pause.
