Hidden object and observation games

Open your eyes wide: everything is hidden in the details. You need to find objects tucked away in a picture, spot the differences between two almost identical drawings or track down the odd one out that doesn't belong. You look closely, then tap the exact spot. Visual attention and concentration get sharper, and you learn to examine a scene methodically, from left to right or corner by corner. Since there's almost nothing to read, simple pictures suit kids from 3 or 4; busy scenes will appeal to older ones. Naming each object you find, alone or with a grown-up, also builds the vocabulary of the youngest players.
